When Helmut Schuller is confronted with a serious diagnosis, he decides to change his life. Instead of pills or surgery, he decided to radically change his diet and prescribed himself daily exercise on his bike. After nine years of uncertainty, what the conventional doctors thought was impossible became a reality: Using his "diet, exercise, faith" philosophy of life, the patient cured himself. During his illness, he also developed the desire to undertake the Way of St. James in the Holy Year 2010. Full of energy and new vitality, the 67-year-old finally made the pilgrimage by bike from Weiden to Santiago de Compostela and Finisterra, to the "end of the world".
