Antonin Dvořák: „Stabat Mater“
with the German Doctors' Choir and Orchestra under the direction of Prof. Frank Dittmer
MAKING MUSIC AS A BENEFIT
With this claim and for this reason, the German Doctors' Choir has been organizing highly acclaimed, high-profile benefit concerts with changing orchestras throughout Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Poland for almost 20 years, the proceeds of which benefit regional projects. In this way, the joy of music is combined with the basic medical attitude of supporting people in social or illness-related need, as well as cultural projects worthy of support.
To mark Caspar David Friedrich Day on 30.8.25, the German Doctors' Choir will give a concert this year at 7.30 pm in Greifswald Cathedral. Antonin Dvořák's "Stabat Mater" will be performed together with the Leipzig Doctors' Orchestra under the direction of Prof. Frank Dittmer.
The benefit proceeds in Greifswald will go to the DRK water rescue service, Vorpommern/Greifswald district association, project: "Save yourself if you can!".
As the concert is free of charge, the Ärztechor asks for a generous donation when attending the concert
