He quickly became one of the most successful and popular artists in East Germany in the mid-80s under the stage name IC FALKENBERG, selling over 250,000 copies of his first two solo albums. IC FALKENBERG's concerts are unrepeatable moments, their open-hearted intimacy and touching melancholy interwoven with humorous stories. Despite his challenging themes, he maintains an unobtrusive lightness. He masters the fine line, sounding sensitive but never sentimental.
