Guided tour on Saturday, September 14, 2025, at 10 a.m., through the Ladebow airfield estate

The former housing estate for members of the former Greifswald-Ladebow air base was built in the 1930s. The settlement buildings of various types, built according to an overall design concept in the Heimatschutz style, dominate the townscape. Elements of "Neues Bauen" and a garden city were also used. The urban, building and open space structures in the estate have essentially been preserved. Heino Förste, chairman of the association Unser Ladebow e.V., will draw your attention to this and the special features of this relatively unknown architectural monument during a two-hour guided tour.
