HGWomen goes ländliche Räume

The Festhof Schwedenschanze in Weitenhagen shines in new splendor & opens its doors for us. HGWomen is an open meeting place for female founders in the Greifswald area.

Festhof Schwedenschanze was taken over by Sarah Fukarek in fall 2024, followed by a name change, a new concept including a new coat of paint and thus a new start in spring 2025.

We want to take the opportunity to enjoy the summer in the rural region of Western Pomerania. To this end, Sarah opens her doors to the Festhof and provides insights into both the premises and the history behind the creation of the new Festhof Schwedenschanze. Specifically, she will talk about finding a suitable space, her experience of succession and her challenges as a founder in Western Pomerania.

HGWomem is a neologism made up of HGW (Hanseatic City of Greifswald) and women and is the dynamic platform for ambitious women in Greifswald and the surrounding area. Our network brings together female founders, self-employed people, project managers, employees and all those who are looking for a valuable exchange with like-minded people.

Every woman* is welcome!
*We understand the term "woman" here in the sense of the FLINTA definition.
