Kreide und Meer - Madlen Ungelenk zeigt Küstenstimmungen, Kreidebilder & Fossilien
Chalk and sea - Madlen Ungelenk shows coastal moods, chalk pictures & fossils
Madlen Ungelenk's pictures of the chalk cliffs of the Jasmund coast, painted with real Rügen chalk and acrylic, are unmistakable and unique. Because of the delicate material, the works must be hung with care - but they reward the viewer with a lively surface when light refracts in the chalk. In addition to chalk paintings and fossils, the exhibition will also feature coastal scenes. These calm and reduced "soul landscapes" are intended to appeal to the viewer on an emotional level.
You can take a first look at the "Chalk and Sea" exhibition on 27.06.2025 from 5 pm during the "Long Night of the Galleries".
The official vernissage will take place the next day as usual on Saturday from 3 pm in the PKB KunstLADEN at Feldstraße 20.
This presentation will be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. until August 23.
"The Wissow Clinks in February" were shown in 2024 with other works by the Pomeranian Artists' Association for the anniversary exhibition "Touched by Caspar David Friedrich" at the "parablau" gallery in the Blaue Fabrik in Dresden.
