Ein Feuerwerk für die Kleinstadt
Cinema in the old fire station
"Ein Feuerwerk für die Kleinstadt" is a multi-faceted comedy with over 65 actors from the region about friendship, love and the twists and turns of (un)typical life in Lusatia. In five very different chapters, the film delves into the life of a small town: teenagers miss their bus and plunge into unexpected adventures. A teenager struggles with his decision between leaving and staying. A mother juggles her jam-packed everyday life between family and career. An informal meeting of town councillors degenerates and a long-kept secret comes to light at a golden wedding. The film was made with the help of a wide range of citizens and brings themes and facets of Lusatia to the big screen in a variety of images.
