The poetry slam has been a phenomenon for almost 30 years now. Time and again, people of all ages and genders find themselves alone on a stage with their own texts in front of an unfamiliar audience. And there is always a curious and attentive audience that wants to hear these texts. Whether funny or serious, socio-political or anecdotal, rhymed or freely told, fantasy or autobiographical, we never know what will happen at a slam.

On the way to the German-language championships this year is also the national championship. But this time it's finally back in Greifswald.
The best from slams all over the country compete against each other in two rounds. Props and music are not allowed. The audience alone decides the winners. There is no jury.

NORA will lead us through the evening as both presenter and musical special guest. NORA's music is moving, makes you smile and dream. The musician is inspired above all by the small, inconspicuous moments, fleeting feelings and moments in life that sometimes take place between the lines, sometimes right under your nose. Sometimes stormy, sometimes very calm, the trained singer impresses with her touching voice.
