Support options for blind and visually impaired people

On the occasion of the "Day of the Visually Impaired", the self-help group "Visually Impaired Greifswald" is organizing an exhibition of aids for blind and visually impaired people and their relatives at the Haus der Begegnung, Trelleborger Weg 37, in Greifswald on 11.06.2025 from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm, together with the Behindertenforum Greifswald e.V..
Renowned aid companies and consultants will provide information on how blind and visually impaired people can better participate in social life, at home and at work using special innovative visual, acoustic and tactile aids.
With our aids exhibition, we would like to inform those affected, but also people who have to deal with blind and visually impaired people at work, in the authorities and privately, about the technical aids available for those affected. At the same time, we also want to raise the awareness of sighted people that their help is needed to successfully integrate blind and visually impaired people into work and society.
