Super-8-Filme aus Greifswald der 80er mit Thomas Frick & Soundperformance mit Rex Joswig und Pegman (Herbst in Peking)
Super 8 films from Greifswald in the 80s with Thomas Frick & sound performance with Rex Joswig and Pegman (Herbst in Peking)
The beginnings of the Greifswald Filmunderground date back to 1983, when like-minded people around Thomas Frick and Robert Conrad came together in the "Greifswald Experimental Film Circle". This was all about naivety, delusions of justice, self-deception and optimism of purpose. There were traitors and heroes, victims and perpetrators, but there were also films and always the hope of a thaw. This is how the first attempts by Thomas Frick and the films by Martin Bernhardt, Oskar Manigk and Robert Conrad came about. The spherical sounds for the film screening come from Rex Joswig (sounds) and Pegman (guitar), both known as rock musicians from the legendary band Herbst in Peking, founded in 1987.
Herbst in Peking, founded in 1987, but they can also do something completely different, as heard in the soundtrack for the film "Lievalleen" with Peter Wawerzinek.
