Even in GDR times, the "Poesiealbum" was a link to the wider world and the international poetry scene. Since 1967, the diversity of poetry has been presented in the small booklets, which at times were only available over the counter. It began with Bertolt Brecht and continued with Mayakovsky and Heine. And No. 4 was already a Thuringian author, namely Wulf Kirsten. No. 375 is now followed by the cheerful poems of the Erfurt "Arche" cabaret artist Ulf Annel, which he wrote at home in Tiefthal or on a balcony in Graal-Müritz. It was there on vacation in particular - combined with peace, fresh air and the occasional swim in the Baltic Sea - that the ideas bubbled up.
