The Zwickau Youth Symphony Orchestra on the road

Forty young people from the city of Robert Schumann will put together a very varied concert program for you under the direction of Prof. Georg Christoph Sandmann. You will hear works ranging from Purcell and Tchaikovsky to the contemporary composer Pujol.
The orchestra won prizes at the international music festival in Neerpelt/Belgium and is taking part in this year's German Youth Orchestra Prize of Jeunesses Musicales with its current program. Thematically/programmatically, the majority of the program is designed by the young people, who also present it themselves. The title is derived from Schumann's Träumerei and a musical journey through time and space.
