People from other countries should be able to participate well in our society. Migrants are also committed to our society in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In order to increase the participation of people with refugee and migrant biographies, a migrant advisory board was founded in Greifswald as a body of citizens for local political concerns. What are Democracy Tables?
The DemokraTische are a series of events organized by the Partnership for Democracy Greifswald since 2019, which take place once a year in cooperation with committed organizers. During two weeks in September each year, a space is created at several Democracy Tables spread across the city where all citizens are given the opportunity to express their opinions, ideas and wishes for our city. Democracy concerns us all - which is why we look forward to every participant taking advantage of the opportunity to participate under the motto "Sit down and have your say!" and thus help to develop ideas and objectives that we then pass on to those responsible in politics and administration.
