Buying fair trade products and supporting fair trade not only improves the working and living conditions of producers in the global South, but also plays an important role in the fight against climate change. Through interactive games and discussions with fair trade experts and the representative for municipal development policy, you will learn more about Greifswald's commitment to fair trade and fair procurement.

What are DemokraTische?
The Democracy Tables are a series of events organized by the Greifswald Partnership for Democracy since 2019, which take place once a year in cooperation with committed organizers. During two weeks in September each year, a space is created at several Democracy Tables spread across the city where all citizens are given the opportunity to express their opinions, ideas and wishes for our city. Democracy concerns us all - which is why we look forward to every participant taking advantage of the opportunity to participate under the motto "Sit down and have your say!" and thus help to develop ideas and objectives, which we then pass on to those responsible in politics and administration.
