Skulpturen von Heidrun Feistner

From July 30 to October 11, 2023, Greifswald Cathedral is showing an exhibition of sculptures by Heidrun Feistner. The artist, who was born in Gera in 1960, mostly works with colored soapstone and alabaster. There are also bronzes cast from stone figures.
Heidrun Feistner describes the working process as a careful uncovering of the forms hidden in the materials, very similar to an archaeological approach. Her aim is to allow the stone to become the narrator of a story. The artist has set up her workshop and studio in Lutherstadt Wittenberg in 2021.
The exhibition in the cathedral can be seen from August to mid-October. There will be an exhibition opening on 30.7. 2023 at 11.15 a.m., to which we cordially invite you.
