2-5 p.m. Guided tour through the history of virology

This unique little museum has set itself the task of bringing people closer to the important and globally unique history that was written on the Riems and in Riemserort.
The virus was researched here. For decades, people have worked here to combat animal diseases, even with the consequence of living in a restricted area. The development of vaccines and their production, the work of the Riems research facility (now the FLI) and the unusual living conditions of the people of Riems have attracted the interest of many visitors for many years. We members of the association have made it our mission to tell these fascinating (Riemser) stories, bring them to life and raise awareness of the importance of this work.

You will find us in the Gristow Nature Discovery Park,
Wiesenweg 1A, 17498 Mesekenhagen. We are open from 14-17 o'clock.
