Irish session to play along or listen (admission free)

Our Greifswald session exists since April 2013. we are enthusiastic musicians who come together to live the irish tradition of the session. We play reels, jigs, slipjigs and the like, but also mazurkas and danish traiditionals. as long as it stays in the session feeling it's all fair game.

If you want, you are welcome to sit down with a beer and just listen. Admission is free.

Anyone who plays an instrument is welcome to join in. So far we have already had: accordion, buzuki, banjo, violin, guitar, harp, mandolin, flute, jew's harp, bodhrán and frame harp, tin whistle and of course singing. We are an open session. Interested musicians are welcome to come and play along. We also have a learner session for people who want to learn. Come along and talk to us.
