“Zusammen Bewegen” invites you to a natter on the fairground
We’d like to organise a get-together for ‘Sunday coffee’ and have a chat with one another.
It’s lovely to have a chat over coffee and cake. What comes to mind when you think about living together in our community?
What matters to you for the future of our local area? What worries you, and what gives you hope? Which issues do you think should not be overlooked? We’d like to discuss all of this with you on Sunday 30 August 2026 from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm at the Festwiese in Neuenkirchen.
Make a wish! How? With the Wish Visualisation Machine – WVM 2026 for short. The WVM is a participatory art project. It invites you to ask yourself: “Why do I enjoy living in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania? What needs to change to ensure it stays that way? How can everyone in the state live well? What about rural areas?” And much more… Our advice: just give it a go!
And, weather permitting, the ‘Zusammen Bewegen’ hot-air balloon will even take off at around 7.00 pm. It’s a powerful symbol of working together to make a difference and of making our commitment visible far and wide.
‘Zusammen Bewegen’ was invited by Mayor Kirsten Breitsprecher and Frank Weichbrodt. It is a non-partisan alliance of individuals, groups and associations, founded at the end of 2025, which now organises community events throughout Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. With an eye on the state election, ‘Zusammen Bewegen’ aims to help bring into focus – particularly in an election year – the issues that truly shape people’s everyday lives.
The insights gained from these informal get-togethers are fed into the public debate. The aim is to ensure that people’s concerns are heard. Democracy thrives when people’s voices are incorporated into political decisions.
In case of bad weather, we’ll meet in the hall of the volunteer fire brigade.
Come along and make a difference!
Kirsten Breitsprecher and Frank Weichbrodt
