Public guided tour at the OZEANEUM
“Off into the blue sea!”: The tour at the OZEANEUM takes you into the underwater world of the northern seas, past life-size whale models, and showcases the sea on our doorstep. 60 minutes | €4 plus admission
Discover the rich diversity of the northern seas through modern architecture: our expert guides will take you through the various exhibitions and past numerous aquariums as you explore the OZEANEUM. Embark on a journey into the underwater worlds of the northern seas – from the Baltic Sea to the open Atlantic. Three impressive whale skeletons await you in the museum’s light-filled foyer. Join us in the ‘Stralsund Harbour’ aquarium to search for well-camouflaged creatures such as flounder, and be captivated by rays, sharks and shoals of fish in the ‘Open Atlantic’ aquarium. In the ‘1:1 Giants of the Seas’ exhibition, you’ll look straight into the eye of a life-size blue whale model.
The one-hour public guided tour highlights the OZEANEUM’s main attractions. Afterwards, you can explore the museum at your own pace.
Meeting point: Underneath the fin whale skeleton on the first level.
Tickets are available from the online shop or at the museum ticket office.
