Fascinating marine worlds within a medieval church – you can experience this extraordinary combination at the MEERESMUSEUM, housed in the former Dominican monastery of St Katharinen. Surrounded by imposing red-brick architecture, you’ll explore the impressive diversity of the oceans with our guides. A model of a Bryde’s whale diving beneath the surface welcomes you amidst a digital school of sardines. Find out more about the leatherback turtle ‘Marlene’ and the diversity of marine mammals.
The one-hour public guided tour highlights the key features of the exhibitions at the MEERESMUSEUM.
