Heike (59) works as a site manager in the building cleaning sector and acts as a liaison between clients, management and cleaning staff on a daily basis.

After she tries to poach a key member of staff from an important subcontractor, the latter threatens to withdraw his support unless he is given more hours and a higher turnover. Heike finds herself increasingly caught in a conflict between her responsibility towards her own staff and the realities of the low-wage sector.
