Open day
Open day - opportunities to listen, try things out and join in
On the open day, interested young and older music enthusiasts will have the opportunity to try out instruments that they have always wanted to learn for themselves.
The music school's teachers will be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions about instruments, and singing and dancing will also be possible.
Beforehand, the youngest pupils will show what they have already learnt in a year in an entertaining concert at 10 am. Potential beginners in particular can be introduced to many different timbres and instruments. Those who have already found their instrument, but are perhaps not yet sure, can book an extra time with the relevant teacher at the music school office from 9 am. Hopefully all unanswered questions can then be clarified in the 15-minute time slot.
Dancers will also get their money's worth. There will be a short performance in the ballet hall at 11.00 a.m., followed by open lessons. You can dance along!
10.40 a.m. is also the starting time for trying out instruments, singing and for questions that the administration can answer, e.g. about enrolments and cancellations, fees or instrument hire. We have set up our cafeteria with drinks and cakes especially for this event.
We look forward to welcoming many visitors and wish everyone lots of fun!
