Public guided tour of the MEERESMUSEUM

"Off to the blue sea!": discover the diversity of the seas behind historic monastery walls with a guided tour of the MEERESMUSEUM. 60 minutes | 4 € plus admission

Fascinating marine worlds in a medieval church - you can experience this extraordinary interplay at the MEERESMUSEUM, which is located in the former Dominican monastery of St Katharinen. Surrounded by imposing red brick architecture, you can explore the impressive diversity of the seas with our guides. The model of a diving Bryde's whale welcomes you in the midst of a digital shoal of sardines. Learn more about the leatherback turtle "Marlene" and the diversity of marine mammals.

The one-hour public tour presents highlights from the exhibitions at the MEERESMUSEUM.

Afterwards, you can explore the museum individually.
Tickets are available in the online shop and at the museum ticket office.
