Concert on the 10th anniversary of the death of KMD Prof. Annelise Pflugbeil

For more than 65 years, Annelise Pflugbeil was committed to the Greifswald Bach Week, which she initiated together with her husband in the summer of 1946. The musician, also known as the "mother of the Greifswald Bach Week", led the Bach Week together with her husband for decades. Annelise Pflugbeil was appointed church music director in 1989 and became an honorary professor at Greifswald University in 1994. She has also received numerous awards, including the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Culture Prize and the Bugenhagen Medal, the highest honor of the Northern Church.
With this concert, the brothers Raik (piano) and Torsten (cello) Harder commemorate the life and work of Annelise Pflugbeil with works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Jochen A. Modeß and Torsten Harder.
Tickets at a price of 15 euros/students 6 euros are available from the Scharfe bookshop and at the box office.
