"For this!" - This is the motto under which the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald is opening Intercultural Week 2025. We want to send out a strong signal: For it - in defiance of all intolerance and exclusion! For this - for an open, diverse society. For this - for a strong democracy. For solidarity, equal opportunities and cohesion.
You can look forward to welcoming speeches and a varied cultural program at the opening ceremony. This year, the focus will be on Georgian culture with guests from the dance academy of the Georgian association Kulturwerkstatt SakARTvelo Berlin. Expressive choreographies, fast turns and powerful jumps - the ensemble brings the heart and soul of Georgian culture to the stage. A creative workshop "Journey into the Georgian Alphabet" invites you to join in. Afterwards, initiatives and associations invite you to a market of opportunities. We warmly welcome you!

The colourful programme of the Intercultural Week was lovingly organized by the Greifswald Migration Network. The events aim to promote intercultural dialog and create spaces for encounters. Together we invite you to over 40 events for young and old and wish all guests a diverse, informative and eventful Intercultural Week!
