In their own individual artistic ways, Ulrike Hogrebe and Eugen Kunkel observe their surroundings, life and the landscape around them, process views and vistas in their paintings - then they build color spaces in their pictures, look out onto inner landscapes, seek to capture an inwardness of impression and create pieces of land, sometimes new territory in pictures and/or a land full of images in their minds.
