What can be made from a piece of clay?

In this year's art project, the residents of Karl-Marx-Platz who took part were given a piece of wet clay - approx. 100g. They were given the task of kneading it, shaping it with their hands and perhaps creating an unexpected, inspiring shape.

Clay is a material that can be shaped freely and almost anything can be created from it. The special features of the material can also reveal new aspects or stimulate the imagination - and this is how some animals such as snails, dinosaurs or squirrels were created, or even small scenes - such as the palm island being circled by a shark.

Once a year, the art association art-cube e.V. invites the residents of Karl-Marx-Platz to take part in an artistic project, help shape it and create a collective work of art.
