Take a walk through Greifswald's old town and discover exciting ideas and conversations on the subject of coffee.
On this tour through Greifswald's old town with talks and impulses, you can get to know the world of coffee. You will learn interesting facts about the popular drink at four stations.
How is coffee grown, how much work does it involve for women and what role does fair trade play? How coffee farmers are adapting to climate change is also a topic. The walk ends with a cup of fair trade coffee in the Weltladen.

The speaker Andrea Krieger has been a volunteer for many years with the Förderkreis Norddeutschland of the development cooperative Oikocredit, which has been supporting people in countries of the Global South for 50 years to improve their living conditions - including coffee farmers.
